A Study On Learning Difficulties And Countermeasures In English Reading Comprehension Of High School Students

English is becoming more and more important with the development of information society and the globalization of economy. As a carrier of information, English is used worldwide in numerous domains of human life. Reading is one of the means for people to obtain information from the external world. So it is utmost urgent to solve the problem of how to increase the reading ability. The syllabus of high school English (new) treats the ability of obtaining and handling information as one of the abilities that we should put great emphasis on.
