Proceeding from a series of social concerns caused in development of the modern science and technology, this text have pointed out that it is extremely essential to permeate Science, Technology and Society (STS) education into physics teaching in middle school. STS is a complicated and huge systematic science, which research interaction among the science, technology and social. It is an inter disciplinary research field. It is the developing direction of the reform in education of our country to pervade STS education into departments' discipline teaching.The text primarily studies how to take STS education into physics teaching in middle school: Have probed the theoretical foundation and practiced foundation that STS education are infiltrated in the physics teaching in middle school; Have explored the content, way, principle that are taken STS education into physics teaching in middle school; Have studied the model, teaching method that STS education are infiltrated in the physics teaching in middle school; Have launched the educational practice of permeating STS education into the physics teaching in middle school. According to the content, principle of teaching as well as teaching model, method of the STS education in physics teaching in middle school, three ways of combination of the STS education and teaching adopted by middle schools were conducted in the physics teaching practice, that is, class pervasion, outside class activity social practical activity.
