And ideology and politics workers of university student only find out about the psychological characteristics of university students, could really do a good job of university students' thought , because educational psychology is regarded as an independent branch discipline of psychology. It is the result that the psychology combined with education. Its research object is psychological phenomena and laws in educational course, embodies a concentrated reflection of it in the basic psychological law learnt and taught in the teaching scene, we can come to understand the research object of educational psychology from three following respects :First of all, according to study course and teaching course, the learning process lays particular emphasis on the psychological evolution within students. So, it is a core of the educational psychology to study the psychology, the research object of the educational psychology must receive the educator undereducational terms at first, practice morality, knowledge skill , intelligence and individual character and rule of development .Second, the educational course includes the activities of both sides of teachers and students, the student is an object of education, it is a subject of education, the teacher's leading role lies in giving full play to the subjective initiative of the object, meanwhile , should study various kinds of factors influencing student's study too in educational psychology in order to help students to offer the enthusiasm of study better. Moreover, the course of school education is the inter dynamic course of teachers and students, teachers and students both sides influence each other and restrict each other in order to realize the goal of education. So, applying the theory-scientific method of educational psychology to university's ideological and political work can help to improve the substantial results of university student's ideological and political work.
