A Study Of University Students' Political Participation According To Substantial Evidence In Contemporary China

The width and depth of citizen political participation is the basic scale for political democratization and modernization. It is an important idea that to expand citizens' participation in political affairs in an orderly way, which is from the report of the 17th CPC National Congress. The university students are the hope of a nation. The university students' political participation not only can improve oneself but also build the democracy of a nation, which has an important meaning. It is an important task for us to build up a reasonable and equitable participation system, bring up and induct the university students having correct political participation consciousness.Chinese and foreign researchers has made deeply research and greatly achieved in this study, adopting different means and ways from different viewpoint .By putting out a questionnaire at twelve universities in Xi'an, analyze and summarize the problem showed in the university student political participation. Then we can put forward a homologous counter plan. First, sum up the important of political participation, the current related study, thinking and method etc. Second, the main bodies make up of four parts; holding the particularity of the university colony, analyzes the reason of the problem, some characteristics in the survey, and then makes a summary about the argument and has an outlook for the political participation of the university students.Improving the quantity of people is not only the premise of the political participation, but also the aim of the political participation. To bring up high-quantity society member is the ultimately task for modern moral education. To make the university students become able constructors and successors for socialism, that is why we encourage all our people, including cadres, to have high ideals, moral integrity, a good education and a strong sense of discipline. It is of great practical significance to make university students become modern managerial expertise and qualified specialists, whom have socialism with Chinese characteristics. Put forward feasible countermeasure, equally important.
