The Research And Practice On The Model Of Inquiry For Life Scince

In order to improve the students' scientific accomplishment, the new curriculum initiates inquiry learning. While what is called the inquiry learning and how to guide students to make a thorough inquiry is the main theme which the numerous first-line teacher must actively carry out. The theory which the model of inquiry for life science has been stated in the study and it has been carried out in the normal schools' biology teaching to seek the possibility and effectiveness of it, there are three parts in the article.Part â…  : Advance the issue.This part has stated the necessary to launch this research on the need of basic education reform of the China, the need of normal school education and the need of biology learning and teaching.Part â…¡ : Theoretic studyThe research of the article was taken out in five very important ways of basic principle, aims, basic process, necessary condition and teaching strategies, which shows that the theory of the model can help the teachers deeply understand the characters and process of the inquiry study method. and the teachers not only have the believable theories but also have the flexibility when they carry out this teaching method .but this method doesn't stress the character of the science biology , neither does it stress the importance of the expression and communication.Partâ…¢ : Experimental researchThe students in the experiment class and comparing class use the same test book .Then choosing some teaching material , each of them was taught in different way :The experiment class used the probing teaching method while the comparing class used the traditional teaching-receiving method . The experiment show that ,First , it can improve the students' grade, specially the grade closely connected with the probing teaching materials; Second , it can encourage the students to understand scientific theory and the process of the scientific research ; Third , it can improve the teachers' own major knowledge ; Four it can change the students' study attitudes if it is carried out in a long time.
