With the economic developments in China, the incompatibility between human beings and nature has been increasingly serious. Environment gradually becomes a crucial element to the survival of human beings. The solution to the environmental problems depends not only on economic, scientific and technologic, and legal means, but also on the enhancement of moral quality. Strengthening environmental moral education in universities is a rational choice for university moral education to meet the demand of our era. Moreover, it is the requirement of the establishment and fulfillment of scientific development perspective. Environmental moral education in universities concerns education in the value of nature, the basic conceptions of environmental morality, and the primary norms of environmental morality. The practice of moral education should follow the principles of development that keeps up with the times, synthesis and participation. The thesis discusses the measures of policy guidance, reform in curriculum and teaching methods, construction of 'green university', and practice strengthening in order to enrich the content and increase the effectiveness of moral education in universities.
