As our reform goes further, communication among people is carried on more frequently. English, especially listening and speaking English, is consequently used on more and more occasions. The purpose of teaching therefore shifts to cultivating students' ability to communicate in English in our daily life. In the result, the traditional method—Grammar and translation method is out of date. Communicative teaching method is then used instead, which mainly focuses on developing students' practical capability when they need to use English. This method will make the English class more communicative, in which students are playing a more active and important role, with the teacher being just an organizer or an activator.This decade has witnessed remarkable progress in English-teaching reform and the development of students' ability since the new method began to be widespread implemented. From the firsthand experience, in this paper, the author expounds the urgency to implement method of communicative-teaching when teaching in the country middle school, and analyzes some influential factors in this process. The author probes and then summarizes how to implement this new method in English teaching of listening and speaking in country middle schools.
