With the development of education reform, people begin to realize the important role gradually which emotional education plays in teaching and have done some valuable researches. Combing the teaching in geography class of middle school, the essay has researched into the necessity of emotional education and how to carry on the emotional education in geography class.Emotional education in geography class can help the students develop full personality, and fully promote the students diathesis. Meanwhile, emotional education is the demand of the development of the society, and the need to achieve the teaching goal of geography in middle school fully and scientifically.This thesis has four chapters in all. Chapter one is a brief instruction, putting forward the question: emotional education is essential in geography class in middle school. Chapter two analyzes the necessity of emotional education. In the third chapter, we analyze the content and goal of emotional education in geography class. Chapter fourth discusses how to carry on the emotional education in geography class. It explores the way to carry out emotional education in geography class in the three sides: setting up hygeian geography class , building "affective holder",co-operative learning and the exchange of the roles of students and teachers, then we can help the students to develop their affection step by step.
