For many years, the stiff preaching of theory indoctrination in moral lessons hasn't achieved an ideal goal. Though attention has been attached to emotional cultivation in moral lessons, little effect has been seen of the conductive education.Negligence towards emotional education has resulted in the gap between the goal of moral lesson and the requirements of curriculum reform and quality education. The thesis is based on the writers investigation into the achievements that have been made in the field of emotional education by other researchers, combining with t exploration and writer's contemplation on emotional education. It consists of five sections.A general outline of emotional education is presented in section one, including the exploration on the history of emotional education as well as an analysis on the concept of emotional education.Section two mainly deals with the necessity and significance of emotional education. The necessity of emotional education involves the nature or the essence of emotional education and the defect of departmentalism revealed in Chinese moral education. The writer also makes further analysis on the positive effect of emotional education on the positive effect emotional education on the all-sided development of the students; the study on the possibilities of emotional education involves the solid theoretical foundation, the advantages that come with the curriculum reform.In section three the writer makes an analysis on the present situation of emotional in politics class.Emotion-centered education has been widely accepted by both teachers and students. However, more emphasis is still put on knowledge rather on emotion. The reason for this phenomenon is that there exists a sort of emotional education and a deficiency of assessment and the simplification of evaluation are also the cause for the limitation of emotional education.Section four describes the basic principles and strategies of emotional education based on emotion psychology by professor Lu jiamen.Section five dwells upon the demands of emotional education of the teachers. The key to emotional education is the reform of teacher's teaching philosophy. The refined quality provides the solid foundation for emotional education. Creative teaching method also counts in emotional education.
