Teachers are the key factor in carrying out the curriculum reform in fundamental education . Whether the reform succeeds or not , to some degree , is directly determined by the teachers' teaching concept and its teaching behavior . From the school aspect , this paper probes into the problems and strategies about changes of teaching behavior in carrying out the reform . After defining teachers' teaching behavior and analyzing its related study at home and abroad , this article puts forward the teaching behavior the new curriculum advocates and analyses the intension of the teaching behavior under the new curriculum and the special significance of its changes . Nan'an Fujian , the curriculum reform experimental area , is the study sample . A self-designed "Questionaire between new curriculum and changes of teachers' teaching behavior" is fully made use of with observation , interviews , true materials and document analysis . With essential study method , the paper carries out the research and analysis into the circumstances of 3 years' reform in Nan'an junior schools from the aspect of the teachers' teaching concept, teaching behavior and the changes in teaching manner. The result shows that there exists quite a few problems in spite of great achievements . There are two main achievements : one is that teachers' teaching concept and behavior are approaching to the goal set by the curriculum reform and "six transfers" have been realized ; the other is that the sense in teachers' professional development and the force in carrying out new curriculum is increasing and students are gaining practical advantages . The problems lie in : theory is quite out of line with practice ; learning manner goes astray ; teachers are not perfect with knowledge structure and skills; utility-oriented teaching evaluation stimulates the come-back of traditional teaching manner. Four strategies about changing teachers' teaching manner are put forward after analyzing these problems and their origins : concept transformation ; support from organizations ; systematic ensurance ; technology sustainance .
