The meaning of teaching behavior includes all the behaviors which caused, maintained and promoted by teachers. It not only refers to acts of classroom teaching, but also be caused outside of the classroom.According to the former experience of existence, this paper starts from the actual facts. So, the conclusion will be more authentic and convincing. All the results are based on a series of studies. Such as, analysing and concluding a lot of results from questionnaire which comes from teachers and students in northwest. Making a deep discussion of these problems about whether the teachers' teaching behavior changed, what changed and the reasons of changes, which under implementing the great background of new curriculum.This paper includes six parts:Part I The first part defined the meaning and purpose of this study. The core of the new curriculum is to promote the development of each student. The fundamental way is according to change the teacher's teaching behavior to transform the students' way of learning. This way can make a foundation and promote a lifelong development of students. Therefore, changes in teaching behavior become the key to the new curriculum.Part II Defining the conception of Teaching Behavior. Why we have to define it at first reasons from the various meanings of 'teaching' in modern Chinese. So, this part briefly introduces the origin and development of 'teaching' in Chinese and English firstly, defines the meaning of 'teaching', and gives an explicit meaning of 'teaching'. So, the explanation of the meaning of 'Teaching Behavior' will be logic.Part III Five sections are used to describe the principles that the teachers should follow when they transform their teaching behaviors under the new curriculum. Although the new curriculum doesn't specify what should be changed in the teaching practice, according to the rationale of new curriculum reform and its spirit, it simply summarizes the principles that the teachers should follow when they transform their teaching behaviors.Part IV According to the analysis of the questionnaire which were done in the Northwest middle schools, the current situation of teachers' teaching transformation is illustrated by tabulation, three-dimensional pie chart and histogram. And the reasons for this current situation are also simply illustrated.Part V According to the result of the questionnaire., analysing of influence the teacher's teaching behavior transformation is based on objective factors and subjective factors.Part VI On the analytic reasons of last part. Some effective strategies and suggestions and some personal opinions are put forward to the improvement of teachers' teaching behaviors.
