In this thesis a comparison has been made between the boys' and the girls' English marks in Grade One of Shaxian No. 1 Senior Middle School, and an analysis has been made in boys' and girls' English learning's result to distribute the circumstance for average cents, the pass rates and excellent rates, and the result of investigation for the degree of the interest of boys' and girls' English learning and the factors that influences the interest of boy's and girls' English learning in senior middle school. The result show that: the girls' ability of English learning and the interest are better than the boys'. The English learning idea that the girls show out is more fitful in with the law of English study than the boys at studying idea of English. Through mastering situation analysis to knowledge type of English, the boys are much better that the girls comparing with writing , hearing and vocabulary , it appears significance difference, but in grammar, cloze and reading comprehension shows little difference . The study of the middle school student is a complicated course, and the intelligence factor of the subject and the course that the intelligence factor acts on together. Factors influencing language learning of English are in many aspects, there are the' teacher's factors, this is an external cause; There are students' factors, this is a internal cause, and the internal cause is the key. This thesis has discussed promptly that influences three main inside factors of the language learning of English: Learning motivation , the idea of English studying and the intelligence difference between the boys and the girls, and these similarities and differences appeared on students of men and women of factor. Adopt the document law , scientific research approach to compare with such many kinds of systems as the experiment law , investigation method , etc., with the scientific attitude, have focused on and has analysed fr6m educational psychology and angle of educational psychology of gender differences of foreign language and filtered out several advantages in English language learning of students of men and women, teaching idea that and propose " because the sex is taught ", have proposed how to make use of the advantages of gender differences and shortcoming of overcoming to improve several suggestions of the learner's English school grade. The research and practice of this subject not only have general realistic meanings but also there is value on educational psychology and English education teaching theory of the middle school of foreign language.
