Monographs On The Social Spatiality Of Hanzheng Jie Area Of Wuhan City, Serial No.6 Porter

In this thesis, Hanzhengjie, a famous trade community in Wuhan is chosen to be the background of urban space study and porters in Hanzhengjie are chosen to be the subject of main body behavior study. We try to get the key of the influential factors about people's behavioral patterns in everyday life by means of field survey, statistics analysis and comparison study. The research is made up of two parts .One is mainly for the study of the physical space including the space of Hanzhengjie, the gathering distribution patterns of the porters, the patterns in urban spacesas well as their interaction. The other is mainly for the study of the social space including the historical development of Hanzhengjie and the porters the present situations of the porters'economics and diet-and-dwelling patterns as well as social problems. On the basis of investigation and analysis above, the patterns of porters'behavior in special urban space and the relationship between space and behaviorare derived through the synthetical analysis of the environment of physical space and social space. Because of the complexity and long-term process of the problems, we do not aim at the implementary measure .Instead, we try to build a conceptual research framework by logic, and to attempt a new research method from sociology. Furthermore, we hope this effort can form a base for the in-depth study in the future.
