Survey And Analysis On The Population Concentrating Of The Rapid Developing Suburb Towns In Shanghai

The urban construction and population growth has fastened on the suburb towns in shanghai gradually. In the future ,there will be more population getting together in suburb towns. People more and more put focus on the research on population inhabitation in suburb towns. But most of existing research on the population in suburb which depend on the censuses data of 2000 is macroscopical and unitary. And the space scope of research is based on the administrator unit. So there is devoid of the research about individual and microcosmic condition because of less of data.The paper intents on describe the condition and characteristics of the population who have concentrated on suburb towns.For literature review, it summarizes the existing theories in population concentrating, in order to form a theoretical basis.The main parts is demonstration survey and analysis. The research data come from the social survey named "population characteristic investigation of metropolis suburb".( The survey scope included four towns xinzhuang town\ dongjing town\xinqiao town\songjiang which are along the Hu-Hang highway). The paper analysis the population concentrating condition of the four towns using some data from censuses of 2000.Next, based on the censuses data, the paper discusses and analyzes the characteristic of population(quality & quantity), source, space layout(stream), intent and trend.The paper summarize the six trend:The quantity of population have became to grow up;The quality of population have been advanced;The space layout of population have became further;The source of population is most of the people who come from other cities instead of the people who come from the city centre;The task of suburb towns is urbanize instead of suburban;The intent of population concentrating is for job instead of house.
