This paper particularly researches the relation of problem teaching for history and cultivation of good thinking quality. The writer investigates the cultivation of students' good thinking quality with problem teaching in order to entrust the new function of teaching history . In fact, in this paper , the writer mainly make creation and research the meaning about how history teaching problem cultivate the thinking quality.With the development of modern society, it is necessary to demand the life-long education. The ultimate purpose of education is to cultivate the students integrating and continuely development and good thinking character also become the important foundation for students. The thinking quality is personal thinking character. The thinking quality reflect the difference about individual intelligence or thinking level, which involving five aspects: profundity, flexibility, originality, criticizition and quickness. The problem teaching is one of the way for cultivate the students' good thinking quality. In classroom teaching, the teacher cultivate the students' problem consciousness by set up problem circumstances which makes students improve the ability to produce query, address query and expound query so as to cultivate students' good thinking quality: flexibility, quickness, profundity, criticizition etc. In problem teaching, the teacher constructs the free study situation, which makes the students dare to ask problems and the students want to ask problems through building the problem situation. In problem teaching, the teachers still teach students the method of query in order to make the students have the skills of asking problems and the teachers also give the proper evaluation to students, which makes the students adept in asking. All these ways carrying out in problem teaching will cultivate the students' good thinking quality. The most important characters of problem teaching are to give full play to students' initiative and positivity , stir up the students' positive thinking, activate the intelligence and make the students devote their independent study spirit and cultivate the students' ability of innovation.
