Evaluating students' mathematics achievement is an essential part of school mathematics teaching. What to be evaluated ? How to evaluate? Answer to these questions will influence students' progress and development. Since the commencement of new mathematics education curriculum reform in national fundamental education, a lot of mathematics teachers and researchers are paying close attention to the reform of mathematics assessment. This study based on the theories questionnaires and interviews, and the purposes are : (1) to perfect the theory of assessment of mathematics learning and establish the theory based of reform in this field;(2 ) to find and solve the new issues and difficulties appeared in the reform process of assessment of mathematics learning, and to enhance the maneuverability of new system of assessment of mathematics learning.The first part of the research is foreword. The background and meaning of the research are introduced. It analyzed the actuality of correlative study inside and outside and confirmed the researching problem. The second part is theory introduction. Not only are the meaning of the assessment and meta-assessment of mathematics learning, but also the connection of the both introduced. The third part shows the entire course of the research. With the teachers' questionnaires and the data processing of them, the author carries on further research aimed at the problems by phone and face to face interviews. The fourth part is the conclusion and the expectations. Three issues are discussed in this part. The first is the condition of mathematics achievement assessment in Senior High School;the second is the math teachers' understanding of mathematics learning assessment;the third is the attitudes and problems with the reform of the mathematics learning assessment which the math teachers have, and study how to solve these practical problems elementarily.
