The relation of language and culture was always valued by the linguists and the two can not be devided. The thesis is trying to analyze the connotation of culture factors, the relation of culture factors and communicative teaching, the culture misleading in English language teaching of communication and trying to find the proper culture teaching strategy.China today is developing rapidly , when facing the environment of international communication, the English language teaching meets new challenge. The culture factors in language teaching should be highly cherished. In the new English curicular criterion in senior high school, we can find that "cultivating the student's culture awareness" is an important teaching content, it is also the demand of English quality teaching. Therefore, the author make a survey of student's knowing the culture difference of Chinese and English, try to know the use of the English culture study in English language learning, and get to know student's approvement of English culture study. By analyzing the statistics the author is trying to find the problem in English culture teaching and suggest mainly three culture teaching strategies. They are communicative learning strategy, background culture learning strategy and goal and phase learning strategy. The author also applied relevant teaching experiments.The pragmatic misuse is a great damage in communication. The author summarize ten communicative misleading in English language teaching, they are as follows: 1. addressing, 2.greeting and fareware, 3.polite word, 4.taboo, 5.culture distinguishment and connotation of word, 6.color employment in language, 7.difference in style, 8.idiom, proverb,allusion and saying, 9.body language—non-verbal communication 10. the difference in thought and idea between Chinese and English people. Attention should be greatly paid to this ten items when we are teaching so that students can get correct English pragmatic connotation.Culture factor is a Chinese concept of culture and a general designation of all the main factors of culture. Social linguists concern about speech behavior which refers to the actual communicative activities of human. The purpose of English teaching is to cultivate talented person of high quality for interculture communication. English teacherplay an implacable important part in interculture communication. The essence of English language teaching is "communication." Teaching is a communication between teacher and student, which includes communication of thoughts, emotion and specified information of language and culture;Teaching is not simply teaching and learning, but a mutual information exchange. Teaching itself is an activity, it is a communicative activity and a technical interchange activity. The activity of teacher and student depend on and act on each other mutally.From the intercultural perspective of English language teaching, there are many practical teaching methods. Each teaching method, including its use of many non-lingual forms, actual things and environment, actually presuppose certain relation of teacher and student, certain understanding of learning. This presupposition is to some degree concerned with definite culture factors. When teaching teacher should create a real communicative context, try to promote student's learning enthusiasm, and let student acquire and learn target language and culture in a typical language and culture environment. It is a very effective method to combine culture teaching and language teaching, which can arouse student's English learning interests. Reinforce culture teaching can make English language teaching have great effect on student's comprehensive education, and can promote social influence and position of English language teaching.
