The textbook of course is the core of school education, the reformation of textbook is the key of educational reformation. With the constantly deepening in educational reformation of China, a set of characteristic chemistry textbooks come out by the 21st century. These textbooks show the important application of relevant chemical knowledge through various columns or additional materials which does not close in the connection of the social actual respect. Education Ministry of our country issued" the chemistry curriculum standard of senior middle school (experiment ) " in 2003, then various chemistry textbooks which were based on the chemistry curriculum standard of senior middle school(referred to as the curriculum standard ) were written to put out constantly. In 2004, three different kinds of editions of chemistry textbooks published separately by People's Education Publishing House, the Educational Publishing House of Jiangsu, the Science Tech Publishing House of Shandong come into operation formally in the test areas of four provinces of the whole country (Shandong, Guangdong , Hainan, Ningxia ). The thesis has analyzed the columns of textbook 1 and textbook 2 (compulsory) in three sets of the chemistry textbooks, studied the design characteristics of the columns from all angles conscientiously, excavated the utilizing tactics fully, and then reviews and puts forward the suggestion of column's application by comparing and analyzing the three sets of textbook.First of all, the thesis has introduced the overview of chemical educational reformation of senior middle school in our country, chemistry curriculum has gone through three periods which include building, developing and improving. Whether it is the angle related to teaching activity from the textbook, the development and change of the presenting mode on the chemistry textbook in our country in more than 20 years, it can be summarized as three types: Stating, intervening the teaching activity and guiding to inquiring-oriented learning independently.Then, with massive graphs (curriculum structure drawing, system structure drawing, various statistical forms of analysis or comparison and so on), the author analyzes the system structure separately firstly, then analyzes the designs characteristic of columns, compare from the curriculum structure, the column frequency to the column function, and induces the columns which corresponds with the curriculum standard.In addition, the thesis analyzes and compares the design characteristic of column on three sets of textbook, puts forward a series of tactics for how to utilize the columns including making good use of the columns of discussing and thinking to change students' study ways;Making good use of the materials column, train students' resources consciousness;Making good use of the columns of inquiring, improving students' scientific accomplishment;Making good use of the columns of expanding, expanding students' study horizon.Finally, the author reflects the utilization of columns on three sets of new textbooks, and puts forward several suggestions: Leaving the chance of thinking to the students at the beginning, leading students to inquire independently;Respecting the cognitive developing rule of students, guiding students to carry on inquiring-oriented learning according to the columns;Offering the students enough time and space to inquire, and offering appropriate support in the books, material, apparatus, and guidance;According to students' cognitive level , deal with the content of the columns appropriately;Using the textbook creatively, expanding content of the textbook .
