In recent years, the emergence of economic mode of earning a living outside a hometown has improved the economic condition in the countryside on a large scale , which leaves the problem of the children left behind education gradually serious .This thesis takes the Chendian town elementary school of Songzi city as the model of the research, discusses the educational problems of the children left behind and has put forward the corresponding measures that are meaningful in reality and valuable in theory.The thesis is mainly composed of four parts.The first part is the foreword. It summarily narrates the background, the realistic meaning, and the present situation of the study of this thesis;it makes a definition of the children left behind again. The basis structure and whole thinking of the study has been formed.The second part is the procedure of the research of the problem. Firstly it introduces the status concerned with the object of the study and states the choice of the studying methods and the operating process of the research. Secondly, an investigation and analysis of the children left behind study situation and family surroundings and an objective appraisal of it are made.The third part is about the results and analysis of the study. Based on the result of the survey, the findings of the study are that the children left behind have such major problems as psychological health problems, bad behavior and the absence of affection. In addition, from a realistic point of view, the author states the disadvantages existing in contemporary family and school education and analyzes the forming reasons of the children left behind problems.The fourth part is about the countermeasures and suggestions of how to improve the children left behind study situation. From different points of view such as families, schools and societies on the issue, the author suggests people should provide the children left behind with an excellent education environment to have them grow well in it.
