The Difference In Education Between Left-behind Children,Migrant Children And Other Children And Counteraction Policy

In the context of labor mobility,there are such groups: left-behind children and migrant children.Based on CEPS and CLDS data,using literature analysis,statistical comparison method and empirical regression method,we divide education into process and results,study the education differences of left-behind children?migrant children and other children,analyse the factors of the education differences,and put forward countermeasures and Suggestions.Study found that:(1)For the short-term education result,the education result of urban children is better than the education result of rural migrant children,the education result of rural migrant children is better than the education result of rural children,and the education result of local children is better than the education result of left-behind children.(2)For the long-term education result,there is no significant difference among rural left-behind children?rural migrant children and other children.The difference between urban children and urban left-behind children is significant.Therefore,we should pay more attention to urban left-behind children.(3)Although the education result of rural migrant children is better than the education result of rural children,it is still worse than the urban children.Schools and societies are more responsible for this difference.(4)The method to solve the problem of left-behind children and migrant children is very important.For the household,strict control can only affect the short-term education of the children,but there is no significant impact on the long-term education.However,the communication is very important both for the left-behind children and migrant children,and influence them of the short-term results of education as well as the long-term results of education.
