By using the method of documentary, interview, questionnaire investigation and mathematical statistics, this paper makes investigation on physical activity condition of 342 young teachers in 11 colleges and universities. Therefore it draws the conclusions as follows: The young teachers know a little about "National Promotion Project ";The exercise time and frequency is nod contented;The quantity of exercise population among the young teachers in campus of Wuhan is lower than the average level of our country and Wuhan;The main purposes for young teachers' participating in sports are be healthier and be relaxation;The intensity of exercise is middling and male teacher like middle intensity than female teachers in the intensity of exercise;There are distinctive differences in the content and form of exercise, the item is various and they like run and walk. Male teachers prefer the rivalrous activities. They always do exercises by them selves or t with their family, friends and colleagues, Exercise site is usually at gym of the units or commonable palaestra;The main difficulties they met in participating is the lack of time, busy working;There are the sub-healthiness peoples among them but more teachers are approve of their body shape;The young teachers have right cognition for connection of athletics and healthiness, and they can keep good habit of life;The field is lack and they need increase it;. The need of young teachers include that favorable or open field, or appointment, athletic counselor have tutor with young teachers and found individual record, and regular exercise and set up website of sports information.
