Self-control plays a very important function for people to apply to the society, and it isthe important of self-mental structure. Senior middle school students are being in the keyperiod in self-development. In this period, the individual is easy to display some phenomenasuch as mood fluctuation, behavior precipitance, idea extremeness and so on. How to controloneself's mood, behavior and idea is an urgent problem facing with senior middle schoolstudents, so we choose to study on the self-control capacity of senior middle school students.Based on analyzing internal and external theory and research of self-control, the paper studieson the 744 subjects from four senior middle schools in Ji Lin.⑴Using revised questionnairesfor self-control capacity of senior middle students and opening questionnaires to study on thesenior middle school students;⑵Using Implicit Association Test(IAT) to study on the impliciteffects of self-control of senior middle school students;⑶According to the explicit andimplicit and explicit characteristic of self-control of senior middle school students, using thetest design of comparing experimental class and contrastive class to study on the self-controlsenior middle school students. The result shows:⑴The self-control problem of the senior middle school students esists in every aspectsuch as learning, living and entertainment,and is concretely represented at two aspects, theyare "What should do is not done" and "what should not do is done";the self-control capacityis affected by many inside factors, including faith, goal, volition, self-confidence and self-indulging, and many outside factors, including environment, outside tempt and stress.⑵The self-control capacity of senior middle school is generally in an average stage.Students in Grade One are significantly higher in self-control capacity aspect than those inGrade Two, Students coming from the city are significantly than those who come from thecountryside, Students who do not live in the school are significantly higher than those wholive in the school.⑶The self-control of senior middle school students is affected implicitly by theself-efficacy.⑷Through the experimental interference training, the self-control capacity of seniormiddle school students is improved both in implicit and explicit level.
