By making a comparative study of mathematics teaching cases between Chinese and American,the thesis rethinks some problems and puts forward some suggestions on a new round of mathematics reform.First of all,the thesis offer some references for implements new currriculum reform.In research method, the paper uses literaturecom- parison and case.The thesis includs three parts.Firstly, the thesis briefly introductions its study hi- story and its value in theory and practice.Secondly, the thesis compares and analyzes the differeces,advantages and disadvantages between two country`s teaching cases , namely,"how to teach mathematics course in realtion to other subjects","how to improve our classroom teaching patterns","how to strengh students mathematics co -mmunication in classroom teaching","how to enlight students understanding math- ematics with mathematics experiments","how to implement assessment on teachers and students".These problems are key some in new curriculum reform. At last,based on our country some problems of new curriculum reform,the paper put forward some suggestions.Refrom in elementary education and implement of mathematics curriculum sta- rdard required a new teaching concept of understanding, teaching and evaluatingma- ths. we found out through research that the use of new standard and new textbooks he- lp maths teachers comprehend better the teaching target,content of courses and stud- nents.We could not leave ther field of mathemetical teaching to make pure deduction, but should probe into the highly-effective teaching at the joints which were formed on combining theoretic reasearch with empirical research and combining the last theory about mathematics education with teaching practice.The thesis collect many teaching cases in classroom and describe and analyze them delicately, which may facilitate im- plementing the new conception.
