The sustainable development as a kind of a new view about society development hasalready been widespread for people to accept. The concept of the sustainable development isunlimited to the environment or ecology along with what people know. And it graduallyexpands to the extensive realm such as economics, sociology, pedagogy etc.The most important of teacher's development is the sustainable development. Theteacher's sustainable development is not only a teacher's inside request, but also the loftystate that a teacher should pursue. And it is the basic assurance of raising the teaching effect,education quality and promoting the young generation grows up healthily. This thesis talksabout the question that teacher is content with the present condition and do not want todevelop from three aspects that teacher has become the languid crowd, teacher's ability cannot keep up with the students' development and teacher is usually to be passive factor in theprocess of making policy. The meaning of keep on sustainable developing is various. Thedevelopment and headway of society can not get away from teacher's sustainabledevelopment. The futurity and forcast of education request a teacher to have the ability offoresee and development. And it particularly can not get away from teacher's sustainabledevelopment ability if he/she wants to carry out the value of individual.To set up the principle of teacher's sustainable development lies in holding the content ofteacher's sustainable development scientifically. The consciousness and concrete practice ofteacher must reflect the principle of the sustainable development. Both the educationadministration and the organization of teacher education should guarantee the teacher'ssustainable development carry on smoothly by providing the convenience condition,opportunities to teacher and establishing the whole and valid circulate mechanism. In themeantime, teacher should pay attention to developing one self's sustainable ability from one'sown condition. Under the inside and outside factors' function, the teacher can be acquired thereal sustainable development.
