The sport of curling, requiring high technology and good tactics, is a new item of sports which incorporates sports, entertainment and fitness into an organic whole .It has considerable value in healthy and sight. It originated from England in the 14th century, and then was introduced to North America by the immigrations from England. It eventually came in Asia in 1995 and became the formal competition item of the winter Olympic Games. At present, the sport of curling has become a global sport launched by the World Curling Association. This sport started in 1995 in China, though makes certain progress, still has greater disparity to the world standard. Korea, our neighbor country, is highly developed in the development of the curling and deserves our research on it. In all the factors influencing the development of the curling, the cultivation of the athletes is the most important and more and more not to be ignored. We are short of the experiences about the management system, the training system, the attention the government pays to, the extent of the propagandizing and so on. Korea is worth being researched by us.Here, this thesis uses the scientific development mode of Korea for our reference, comparing with our country by interviewing with others who are expert in it, sending questionnaires, consulting the specialists, summarizes our deficiency and in the end elicits the proposals about the development of the curling adapting to our country. The purpose is accelerating the development of the curling project and achieving the plan, seizing golden metal in the Olympic Games.
