The new curriculum standards made a clearer requirement for the Chinese teaching aims in middle schools. The way to approach the new standards is to turn the curriculum standards into practical class teaching aims. By reaching the teaching aims, the curriculum standards can be realized in the end. Therefore, whether the teaching aim is well designed plays an important role in the curriculum standards.Looking back into our teaching practice, we found many problems with the design of the teaching aims. For instance, some teachers thought we shouldn't set a clear teaching aim, and it was hoped to come into being naturally. Some teachers thought we should have classes strictly based on the designed aim. Others thought every designed teaching aim should be well aimed. More teachers had no idea. So, there appeared all kinds of mistakes in teaching aim designing. Some are indistinct, some are lacking in adaptability, some have a vain aim, while others even have no aims.Based on the thinking over the problems mentioned above, this article contains the features of the mistakes. It answers the questions of"What is it". Then it analysis the reason why the questions come out and answers the questions of"Why". In the end, it discussed the way out and the method of setting teaching aims. It also answers the questions of"How to do it?"This article discusses"The mistakes and the way to solve them in designing teaching aims in middle school Chinese teaching with the new curriculum standards". It tries to solve the problems with teaching aims and give a reference on the designing of teaching aims. It will also serve as a for reading teaching.
