| By making a comparative study of mathematics curriculum standards of senior middleschool between Chinese and American, the thesis rethinks some problems and put forwardsome suggestions, so as to offer some references for our country's senior middle schoolmathematics curriculum reform. In research method, the paper uses literature, comparisonand case. The thesis includes four parts. Firstly, the thesis briefly introductions backgrounds ofmathematics curriculum of China and America. Secondly, the thesis horizontally comparesand analyzes the differences, advantages and disadvantages between the two country'smathematics ability curriculum from three fields, namely, "Problem Solving ","Reasoning and Proof" and "Communication". Thirdly, the thesis horizontally compares andanalyzes the differences, advantages and disadvantages between the two country'smathematics ability curriculum from three fields, namely, "Data Analysis and Probability"and "vectors" . Taking the content standards of senior secondary school of two country'smathematics curriculum standards for example, and then put forward some suggestions andmeasures for our country's mathematics curriculum reform. At last, based on constructingthe mathematics curriculum system of our country's basic education with Chinesecharacteristic, the paper rethinks some problems and put forward some suggestions for ourcountry's mathematics curriculum reform. The thesis' fruits are centered to two aspects, namely, practical level and theoreticallevel. In practical level, the paper puts forward some proposes, such as "engage with juniormiddle school ", "choose good problem", "integrating mathematics branches", "trainingteacher's teaching concept and technology", and so on. In theoretical level, the paper putsforward "modifying curriculum ", "strengthen teacher's cultivation", "developingmathematics curriculum", "thinking highly of parents' functions in mathematics curriculumreform".
