Under the situation of reform in contemporary period, education reform, especially in basic education field, is placed on strategic position and considered first in various countries. An important part of education evaluation is evaluation on students, by which the education quality can be represented. Evaluation on students is essentially a value judgment. The evaluation standards represent value principle, on which the evaluation activities are based, make specific evaluation meaningful, and determine the conclusion of evaluation. The evaluation can be divided into there categories: relative evaluation, absolute evaluation and individual difference evaluation. Current evaluation existing commonly within our country are most relative evaluation, where exist severe shortcomings that is obvious in education practice. Therefore, the thesis intends to elaborate evaluation standards, and resolve current problems existing in education evaluation in our country. The thesis is going to develop in there parts:The first part generalizes the value to design absolute evaluation and the current research situation.The second part expounds theories about absolute evaluation, including its connotation, features, meanings and principles to design evaluation standards.The third part is the main body of the thesis, mainly discusses principles to design standards of absolute evaluation and the research on the development and application of absolute evaluation in math teaching in elementary school.
