Function is an important mathematical model, which brings to light the dependent relation between the variable in the objective world and the variable, but the graph of function then directly displays character and estate of function. Because of the abstraction of the function contents, the ineffectiveness of the function teaching has been perplexing numerous teachers and students for a long time. With the popularization and application of computer-making-graph technique in all trades and professions, this new technical medium is widely used in graph of function teaching as auxiliary mathematical classroom teaching at home and abroad, as strongly advances an in-depth study in graph of function teaching. But, in practical teaching, the actual circumstance of the teaching object varies with each individual, is always varied and changeable and is full of complexity. For example, different teaching stages, different types of graph of function and different making graph tools have their own merits and demerits, so only by combining advanced teaching means with effective teaching mode can it produce the best teaching result. This thesis is based on behavior doctrine, person originally doctrine, construct doctrine and cognitive doctrine, and also I make full use of the documentary analysis method and comparative method to do the research in my school. On the one hand, I teach class 6 under the information technology condition. On the other hand, I carry on the contrast research in class 9 under the traditional teaching. On the basis of this research, I put forward a few teaching modes in common use in the graph of function teaching, such as activity-participation mode, explanation-heuristics mode, self-education -instruction mode, etc. What's more, I show how to carry on the teaching design of the graph of function under the information technology condition by plenty of analyses of graph of function contents and living examples of individual graph of function teaching.Through the research, I'll come to a conclusion: Carrying on the graph of function teaching under the information technology condition, its teaching result is obviously superior to the teaching under the traditional meaning. And also, it is a gradual process for students of understanding the graph of function problem. According to the different classification standard, the graph of function problem ofthe senior high school can be classified into different types. In accordance with different problems of graph, we'll make selective use of graph of function teaching modes. So the key point to make good graph of function teaching under information technology condition is to seek the joint point between information technology and graph of function teaching timely and reasonably.
