As a kind of all- new social power, the contemporary media has already developed to be an important way to affect the minors' growth and development, and most of the minors are increasingly exposed to it. Especially with the fast development of the new medium----Internet, the contemporary media environment has gradual influence on the minors, especially the socialism of the minors, which brings about both opportunity and challenge to the moral work of the minors.Under the background of information and globalization, the thought and the behavior method of the minors has changed a lot too. And the media environment becomes a basic and important way which causes such change. Compared with the influence of home education, school education and social education, the influence of the media is more general and irreplaceable. It will play more important role in minors' growth and development. So we will never neglect the fact that the mass media environment has influence on contemporary youth when thinking about every variety of minors' growth and development.Faced with the work of the minors in the new century, we must further carry out the requirement of " Several Opinions of the Central Committee of CPC on Further Enhancing and Improving the moral work of the minors." and Hu Jintao, our general secretary's request of furtherenhancing the social sense of responsibility to create good public opinion environment for the moral work of the minors. Meanwhile, we also consider it as a very important mission to explore and create actively good medium environment for healthy development of the minors.
