At present, A new curriculum reform of compulsory education has been carried out all over our country. Its basic thinking is to focus on the learning of knowledge structure and the development of learning ability, and propose learning through finding. It also emphasizes the students-center and advocates developing the students' characteristics. Teachers should pay attention to students' learning interest and methods. The new teaching-and-learning theory requires new instructional designs. The purpose of this thesis, which is based on the STSE junior physics instructional designs, whose central idea is on the background of society, is to bring students' emotional factors into the science education, mainly physics education, through the technology of physics.This thesis introduces the background and the significance of the study through analyzing the current situation of curriculum reform and physics education in our country. It also sums up the conception, theoretical basis and present situation of instructional designs, analyses the model of instructional design course, and makes up the methods of instructional based on STSE.This thesis analyses the conception, features and basic contents of STS education, and introduces its developing situations in China and summarizes the classifications, functions and theories of the emotional education.This thesis analyses the background of junior physics instructional design based on STSE and states the methods of instructional design of junior physics based on STSE, including the design methods of teaching aims, learning circumstances, teaching strategies, learning resources and teaching evaluation methods. Through the experiment data, it is proved that instructional design of junior physics based on STSE can arouse the interest of students learning physics and improve the students' attitude towards science to some degree.
