| This paper focuses on the contribution of education to the economic growth both by theory and by demonstration. On theory, beginning with the definition of education inputs and economic growth, summarizes the theory development of economic growth and models in every development period, providing the necessary background analysis to the research of the economic contribution of education;shows a light on the characteristics and relevant indexes of education inputs with the development of education in China, takes the comparison of education at home and other developed countries. And in the end, puts forward with the future education development pattern in China. On demonstration, haves a line on the efficiency of education inputs in China through analyzing the external effect and the relevant relations with the primary, secondary, tertiary industry. And then focuses on the solutions to the problems in the education development. Many statistics methods have been used in this paper such as regression, correlation, feeder model and so on. On the basis of the above conclusions, the paper finally puts forward with some proposals in term of education development in China, such as augmenting governmental inputs to education, reforming the governmental educational fund allocation systems and developing non-governmental education finance and etc. |
