Research On The Motivation Of Principals In Middle Schools

Man is the most precious in the word. People pay a good deal of attention to the importance of man along with the human capital fundamental research . Principal human capital is the most important and scarcest capital in schools.Whether principals can be motivated has much with our country's education. Motivating principals effectively is urgent.This article consists of four parts. Part one mainly introduces the background of the study and analyzes the significance of the study,then it puts out the thinking and the way of the study.Part two is about the theoretical basis. It mainly introduces Psychology theory, School Management theory, Human Capital theory, Principal-Agency theory and Motivating theory. Part three analyzes the questionairs and shows the factors to influence the principals' enthusiasm ,it analyzes the actuality of motivating principals and the obstacles to motivate principals in our country. Last part is about the system of motivating principals. It puts out the model,measures and mays of motivating principals.The article makes conclusions as follows;firstly, the level of principals' satisfaction is very low. Secondly, there are many factors that influence principals' enthusiasm, and all of them have great influence. Thirdly, principals'needs have four characteristics. Their material need is very urgent, their power need is very eager, their social need is very prominent, their respect need is very protruding.Last, motivating principals is very complicated.A motivating principals system should be set up very soon.The article puts out a 360° motivating model in the end.
