| With the change of educational environment,the society pays more and more attention to school education,and the requirements for principals are also more and more high,calling for the principal to implement moral leadership and build the school into a moral learning community.Sergiovanni put forward the theory of moral leadership.He believed that schools are a special organization,and the traditional school leadership theory comes from enterprises,which is not suitable for the development of schools,and that the school is a place to cultivate talents through education.The theory of moral leadership comes directly from the school,which is more in line with the education law of the school ",and provides a new leadership direction for the principal and a new perspective for the analysis of the professional development of the principal.Based on the new requirements of the current external environment of school education,this study focuses on the problems existing in the moral leadership of primary school principals and the strategies to improve the moral leadership of primary school principals,in order to provide a direction for primary school principals to improve their professional development level from the perspective of moral leadership.According to the purpose of the research,this study uses the method of literature research,questionnaire survey method and interview method to reveal the problems existing in the moral leadership of primary school principals,discusses the causes of the dilemma of primary school principals,and proposes the strategies to improve the moral leadership of principals based on the actual situation in China.The study subjects included primary school principals and some primary school teachers.Finally,111 valid questionnaires from primary school teachers were received,and in-depth interviews were conducted with 5 primary school principals.The research found that there are some problems in the moral leadership of primary school principals,which are manifested as: relative lack of personal moral quality,low interpersonal moral quality,and low organizational moral quality.Through the analysis of the research data,it is found that the main reasons for the moral leadership problems of primary school principals include: the principals’ professional development quality needs to be improved,the principal management system is relatively incomplete,the principal training is not systematic enough,and the principal moral evaluation system is rigid.In view of the above problems and causes of the principal’s moral leadership in primary schools,this paper puts forward some suggestions to improve the principal’s moral leadership by improving the principal’s own moral cultivation,constructing the management system of moral schools,systematically planning the curriculum system of principal training and improving the principal’s moral evaluation system. |
