How to internationalize the children's music teaching in modern Chinese families, and how to draw lessons from the achievements of foreign family music teaching for music teachers and parents in order to turn their love and care into scientific means of teaching punctually, realizing their longing to see their son succeed in life are the focus of this essay. There are three parts altogether:In the first part, comprehensive definition and elaboration are raised for the meaning and significance of children's music teaching in family. In the second part, compare and analysis are made profoundly in the aspects of aim, content, music tutor and education environment between modern children's music teaching in German and Chinese families according to the data from investigation. In the third part, with introspection of the present problems in China from the result of the analysis, some proposal, which is practical and proper for children's music teaching in Chinese family, are suggested.In this essay, questionnaire and document in both Chinese and German, which includes books, magazines and outstanding essays in Chinese-German pedagogy, children's psychology, family pedagogy andchildren's music teaching, are used, as well as compare and studying as the achievement set force by some authorities.
