This thesis is about the history of Music Psychology’s formation and development in China in the first half of20th century.This thesis consists of introduction, main body and conclusion.Introduction of this thesis mainly discusses the research significance, current status, methodology and relative conception’s explanation of the thesis.There are three chapters in the main body. It divides historical development of Chinese Music Psychology in the first half of20th century into three stages. It is based on original document to clarify and represent recent procedure of Chinese Music Psychology in the first half of20th century.The first chapter is about prototype stage of "Music Psychology" subject (1900-1919).It mainly discusses the historical background of music from1900to1919. And to explore the music appreciation psychology embodied in the "audio perception","emotional experience" aspects,psychology of music performance in the understand the perception and the music educational psychology students’ learning psychology and soThe second chapter is about expansion stage of "Music Psychology" subject (1919-1937). It mainly discusses the historical background of music from1919to1937.1n prototype phase of the research as the foundation,it further discussion of music appreciation psychology "audio perception","emotional experience" and "under standing"in the embodiment of psychological aspects,in music performance of psyc hological research discusses the emotional experience, at the same time discuss the music education of psychological,aesthetic education thoughts in music education in the psychological and study of school students learning psychology, teachers’ps ychology.The third chapter is about integrate stage of "Music Psychology" subject (1937-1949).It mainly discusses the historical background of music from1937to1949.On the basis of the prototype stage and development stage of the research.As to further discussion on the overall music appreciation psychology of "audio perception","emotional experience" and "understanding", music performance in the artistic mood problems and on-the-spot performance of psychological change and music education psychology learning psychological characteristics for school students and teachers should have quality differences on various aspects of the content.Conclusion of this thesis considers that Music Psychology is a crossing subject in the development of Music History in the first half of20th century in China. It Covers various aspects the contents of the research,music appreciation psychology, psychology of the music performance and music education psychology research category of music psychology course,the embodiment of research category of content. Perfected the first half of the20th century Chinese music psychology discipline development and the realistic significance and far-reaching.
