In the present market with increasingly keen competition, performance management has been the core of school human resource management, which is one of the essential activities to achieve organization target. But almost all of the school meet some common problem when they carry out the performance management, such as how to design one effective and operational performance index system, how to collect performance information effectively in the process. In the mean time, the school always regard performance management simply as performance evaluation, while neglect managing the process.The dissertation is mainly involved in analyzing the existing problems in the performance management of Trade school in GuangZhou, Problems:(1) Focus on evaluation instead of improvement ;(2)The system of Rewards&Punishments is not perfect;(3)key performance indication can not be well used in the evaluation of teaching quality ;(4)misunderstanding of the performance management leads many problems in carrying out this system.The corresponding solution to perfect this system:(l) reconsider about the performance management index system;(2)make evaluation on teachers manner according to the key indication system ;(3)emphasize on teaching ability and attitude. (4)make sure of the comprehensive evaluation from students themselves and the dean.(5)Emphasize on teacher' training and the improvement of teaching facilitiesThe characteristic of the dissertation is exploring how to settle the current existing problems basing on the Trade school in GuangZhou case, that include how to design one effective and operational performance index system, especially direct at the posts which have no quantitative products, how to enhance process management, how to collect performance information, how to conduct performance communication, how to execute performance guide, how to conduct performance feedback, and how to apply performance evaluation result.
