The theory of group training proposed by Tian Maijiu has become a bridge and connection between general PE training theories and specific training theories. One of the important applications of this theory is to show and scrutinize the rules of mono-group training by using the training skills and techniques in different aspects of the group, and consulting the advantages of the other theories in order to make the training effects more efficient. By this way, it provides the fundamental theoretical basis for the inter-group training's application in mono-group. However, inter-group training hasn't a definite appellation and needs to be further research. The teaching & training theory of SHLJG, which is a practical application in athletics, is a branch of group training theory. It includes the sprint, hurdles and long jump events (These events are all typical speed & strength group.). These events, we mentioned above, have similar demands of the physical strength, motor skill and intellectual ability to the athletes. Especially in the aspect of motor skills, the superficial outlines of primary jump among three events are different, but the nature is same, at least similar with each other. As refers to the details of skills, there are some differences too. Here, the three skills can be integrated into a whole, to guide the inter-group training. Meanwhile, the details can be used to improve the abilities of analyzing the encountered problems, and have good effect for the intellectual development of the young athletes. With the different attitudes towards the details, the athletes can understand their majors from more rational point of view. So, there are valuable practical senses in practicing the inter-group training. First of all, the young athletes can develop their different athletic abilities, master comparative wide skillful movement. Furthermore, the athletes are encouraged to practice as more all kinds of sporting events as possible, in order to make a foundation for their major profession. This theory is also suitable for the purpose and mission of the young's athletic training. This conception is realized by many practical PE coaches, and applied into practice unconsciously to some degree. However, they lack the deeper understanding for inter-group training. Because of that, there are many problems need to be solved before getting the satisfying result. The purposes of the paper lie on the following four points:a) The author wants to investigate the inter-group training's situation of the young athletes who put the sprint, hurdles and long jump as their majors;b) The author tries to find the existing problems in the process of practicing the inter-group practicing into the mono-group;c) The author would like to analyze the causes of the above mentioned problems;...
