The process of the study is a process for comprehend, the student'scomprehension establishment to the knowledge is on the foundation that alreadyhas the knowledge experience, the alternative conception is that a student havealready in the knowledge experience and with different understanding of scienceconcept, it produces negative influence to student science study that can't neglect.In the recent years, the alternative conception study became a topic within realmof research of science education, and numerous science education researchershas made a great deal of research to find good methods to open out and correctthe student's alternative conceptions. But in the our country, the research of thisaspect is just the start, it is a not enough system of research. Owing to this, wechoose the alternative conception in order to study the topic, the chemistry of thestudy senior high school studies the series problem that in the alternativeconception research.The research includes five major parts: the analysis of related terms ofalternative conception research;The present condition that the domestic andinternational alternative conception research;The relation between thealternative conception and science conception;Two-Tier test's application inalternative conception research;The suggestions of promoting alternativeconception to change into science ideas .Take a comprehensive view of the cultural heritage of the domestic andinternational alternative conception research, we analyzed the source,characteristics of the alternative conception, then systematically analyzed itsinfluence to science study, and main method of alternative conception research.Then we find in the research of alternative conception, different scholars usedifferent terms, such as preconception, alternative conceptions,misconceptions. The excessive technical terms may become the raw recruitcomprehension obstacle of the related cultural heritage, boycotting otherresearchers to join that realm also and biggest. We carried on the classificationand differentiate and analyze to the connotation of these technical terms fromthe angle of science philosophy view. We think the "alternative conception" isthe best term.Moreover, we analyzed result and shortages of the chemistry alternativeconception research, we select to examination the topic of the material structureto investigate the senior high school students in chemistry study the alternativeconception of circumstance .The investigate result express the student'salternative conception is really very unprogressive and with science concept ismutually the match may produce more of personal viewpoint. Then, we carriedon the same test with understanding comprehension living in the aspectuniversity student of the material structure knowledge and senior high schoolwhether the existence is different. We investigate the result that because of theprofession studies the grade four student is obvious on the comprehension ofsome contents better than grade one student and senior high school , but onanother some contents the comprehension that university student and senior highschool did not show the differenceAfter the interview of the chemistry teacher of the senior high school, weunderstand their understanding of the alternative conception is very superficial,we suggest the teacher understand the value of alternative conception,reasonable know the relation between the alternative conception and scienceconcept, and adopt valid measure to promote student of concept change. Afterthe analysis the function of textbook and student how to read the textbook, wepromote student the angle of the concept change puts forward the suggestion tothe compile of the textbook.
