Photosynthesis is one of the basic theories in high school. And it's also a difficult point in teachers' instruction as well as in students' learning. During the teaching practice, it was found that many high school students have a wealthy of dim cognitions or mistaken understandings. In this dissertation, these dim cognitions and mistaken understandings are so-called "misconception in photosynthesis". Up to now, foreign researchers have got relatively abundant achievements in this field, while domestic researchers have done little in this field. That's why the author choose this point as research subject to explore a series of problems in high school students' study in learning of photosynthesis.This research focuses on four aspects: the achievements made in misconceptions in photosynthesis, applying the tool of two-tier to investigate the misconceptions of photosynthesis, analyzing the cause of the high school students' misconceptions in photosynthesis, finding conceptual teaching strategies to photosynthesis learning.A considerable amount of research has shown: before accepting school education and in the course of study, children may have some misunderstandings and puzzles. These factors always cause misconceptions. The existence of these misconceptions will affect students' understanding of scientific conceptions and result in difficulties in students' learning.The research of misconceptions in photosynthesis mainly relates to the condition of the photosynthesis, the character of photosynthesis state and the influence to the equilibrium when condition changes etc.In recent years, some Taiwan scholars use the tool of two-tier to investigate the misconceptions in biology learning. This dissertation uses it for reference. Firstly, basing on the 14 conceptions concerning photosynthesis, the author has developed the tool of two-tier in photosynthesis's research. And then, using the developed tool of two-tier, the author made a spot check among the high school students with different levels in Jinan.
