A Study On Present Situation Of Higher Agricultural Professional Skill Education And Developmental Strategy Of Our Country

Although the agricultural higher professional techniques education has made great progress after the Reform and Opening Policy, there still exist many problems. Firstly, there aren't enough students in agricultural higher professional colleges. Secondly, the training contents and the developing goals can't meet the needs of development of agriculture and countryside in these colleges. Thirdly, the farmers can't obtain the techniques in time that are needed urgently in production. Finally, there isn't a close combination between the agricultural professional techniques education and the agricultural extension. These problems make the development of the agricultural higher education in trouble. There are many reasons for them. The key point is that the lower profit of agriculture leads to the farmers'negative attitude in making use of the new techniques. So it hinders the farmers'requirement for the agricultural techniques. At the same time, the separation between the supply of agricultural higher professional techniques education and the farmers'requirement for the professional education, the in coordination between the characters of the farmers'requirements and its training methods, the irrationality of its educational resources disposal, the limitation to the scale of agricultural management and the social mechanism deficiency in the insurance of agricultural techniques affected the development of the agricultural higher professional techniques education. According to the analysis to these reasons, this thesis offers some suggestions that will make the agricultural higher professional techniques education out of trouble. For example, change its training goals, legislate its education laws, set up communication channels between the subject and the object, improve its training methods according to the local conditions and improve the combination between its education and the agricultural extension, and so on.Our Party has established the aim to construct the well-to-do society at the first 20years of this century.
