Nowadays, in large-scale rural area, for some reasons, especially, the influence and limitation of underdeveloped condition, the new curriculum reform is confronting more and more difficulties. Among them, one outstanding matter is the teachers' adaptability to the new curriculum system, which is becoming more and more troublesome. It is a matter that is worth paying more attention to. As everyone known, the better a teacher comprehend, do and accommodate the new curriculum's ideas, management, system, and the new curriculum's blueprint, the more possibly the new curriculum reform will be achieved. Therefore, the teachers' adaptability to the new curriculum is one more pivotal factor that can affect the rural area's curriculum reform implementation than others.A main idea in this thesis is that teachers' or implementers' adaptability to the new curriculum is the first matter we should resolve. Because the terminal aims achievement of the curriculum reform much due to teachers, due to them to try to devote themselves to the reform and continue to adjust the curriculum scheme, to accommodate them to this great project. In addition to, teachers' adaptability is the fundamental basis to improve both teachers and students abilities and achieve the target the of the new curriculum reform. The author takes Kangle county Gansu province as a case to collect documents, data, dialogue notes, class reports. The author also adopts many scientific methods, like literature analysis, questionnaire, interviewing, observe method to make an integrative study so as to find preferable solutions.For the moment, the influence on teachers' adaptability generally aroused by the factors of society, curriculum itself, school and teachers themselves. For these influential factors, the degree of rural teachers' adaptability to the new curriculum is far lower than expected. It is not difficult to find teachers' inadaptability to the new curriculum is presented in many aspects, including: their out-dated curriculum ideas, curriculum sense unclear, curriculum knowledge insufficient, lower skills in curriculum development and lack of ability to apply the modern technology. Account for teachers' inadaptability status and to meet with the aims of qualities education, specific target of the new curriculum, the author bring forward preferable suggestions:i .to transfer teachers' curriculum consciousness;ii.to reform the initial normal education formulations, speed up the teachers' professional step;iii.to launch on-the-job training, optimize the training courses content;iv.to bring school-based training into effect as effective as possible; improve teacher staff's integrative qualities;v .to optimize teachers' psychological qualities;vi.to establish a set of opening and expansible valuating institutions for teachers;vii.to push the rural informationization education construction forward.
