Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children — Third Edition (WISC-Ⅲ) was most famous an individually administered measure of intelligence scale in the world. This research is the first trial research of Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children —ThirdEdition in China. There are two aim of the trial research. The first one is to review whetherWISC-Ⅲ is applicable in our country then to find out advantages and limitations aboutWISC-Ⅲ through the trial research, and to gain some information of the theory frame andcompiling practice for developing our national standard individual intelligence scale.Thesecond one is to confirm the construct validity of the scale .Translate the WISC-Ⅲ global scales and modify some items in subtests, particularlymodify verbal scale which some items are not fit for Chinese children for culturaldifference .the operational scale are not changed .at last form the WISC-III trial Chineseedition.97 children attend the trial research. According those result, psychometric characteristic ofthe revised items is Reported. Information of Composite Reliability is reported bystructural equation modeling. Composite reliability confidence interval is estimated bybootstrap method. Composite reliability of the four factors all exceed Nunnallyrecommended stands of reliability in trial research.3 new competitive modeling is provide to confirm the construct validity of the ChineseWISC-Ⅲ trial edition.the results show the four factors model fit data best.According to the result of the trial research and the trend of intelligencemeasurement ,some suggestions are provided for developing the new intelligencescales. Finally, reviewed the study, and prospected on the future...
