A Study On Village Primary And Junior High School Teachers' Information Competence In Qujing Of Yannan Province

Teachers's information competence may be defined as the competencewith which the teachers collect, analyse, process and deliver information in their educating and teaching work and make use of information to resolve the actual problem.The key to the education informationalization in our country is to improve the teachers'information competence and especially village primary and junior high school teachers' information competence. So we can conclude that the research into the village primary and junior high school teachers' information competence bears very important realistic meaning.According to literature reviews on information competence of primary and junior high school teacher's, analysis of the questionnaire conducted among teachers of primary and junior high school in village, and technology of factor analysis, this study have put forward its own theoretical hypothesis and evaluation model of primary and junior high school teacher's information competence and constructed TICES, The formal questionnaire was carried out in village primary and junior high schools of Qujing City in Yunnan Province. On the base of the study,we take action research to study the way and the method of development and the exaltation village primary and junior high school teacher's the informationcompetence.The results are the following:I. The self-made TICES is of good reliability and fair validity. It can be used as a credible and effective tool for measuring the village primary and junior high school teacher's information competence.II. By means of exploratory factor analysis, the research found that the village primary and junior high school teacher's information competence.is constructed of five dimensions, that is, realize information competence, obtain information competence, handle information competence , spread information competence and the competence of safe information on moralses.
