The new turn of curriculum reform advocate development-orientated assessment of teacher and accountaability -orientated assessment of teacher has received the enormous impact. The aim of this investigation is to understand the condition of implementation and the role of teachers in development-orientated assessment of teacher in Chongqing and further analyze the problems that exist in the course of development-orientated assessment of teacher, and put forward the constructive opinions and suggestions to administrators and teachers of the middle and primary schools.This research mainly adopts the investigation method of the questionnaire assisting with interview law and releases 400 questionnaires together, 350 parts of valid questionnaire among them. Through statistical analysis to investigation result, find that there are following problems in the course of implement of development-orientated assessment of teacher in Chongqing city 's elementary and middle schools.1. Development-orientated assessments of teacher obtain the universal approval but accountaability -orientated assessment of teacher still holds important status.2. Teacher's difference has not been considered in the content of assessment content3. In the process of assessment, teacher passively participate and the main body status areneglected4. Many appraise subjects participate in teacher assessment together, but leader assessmentstill play a key role.5. There are different in city and countryside implementing the teacher assessment and thecondition of city is batter than the countryside6. There are differences in the approval the development-orientated assessment between thecommon teacher and the school administrator...
