Research On College Students' Honesty Belief Personality Education

"Personality" distinguishes the human's dignity from animal's manner. From the dimension of moral value, personality is human's principal status of independent existence, the stable and complete characteristic and the existence condition. Displayed as the spiritual quality formed in adjusting, adapting and transforming the environment of individual or the community, it is the "human's social selves". Honesty belief has always been the common principle, desire and the eternal pursuit of the human beings since ancient times. It requires people to carry out what they say, to keep promises and faith. Some of Confucius' words, such as "The human who don't keep his words, cannot be known he may so" present the honesty belief. Being one of the most important qualities, honesty belief plays a vital role in the moral character of individuals and the ethics of a society. As a vital factor for the survival and development of the whole society, it is specially needed in the case of the present market economy to keep social stability, civilization and individual's full development. Based on this, this article analyzes the problems to strengthen and cultivate college students in this respect.From the background of the modern market economy and the personality concept of ethnics, and use the predecessor's research results as references, the paper illustrates the necessity of the university students honesty belief personality education, analyzes the individual and social causes to the college student flaw of honesty belief personality, and proposes effective principles to enhance the personality.
