This paper is the case study of investigation and analysis on the single mother's family education.With the development of the modern society, Chinese marriage and family experienced the changings that never happened before, more and more divorced family appeared. In those divorced family, some divorced women with children were desperated at marriage or impossible to get into marriage again, it became gradual increasing single-mothers' groups .There are some studies showed that single-parent family is easy to make children have some problems ,such as: with the feeling of inferiority and insecurity; dissociable, lack of communication; keep mind under great pressure, not good at study, self-centered, and weak in self-control and self-adpated. A bunch of problems bring to family unfortunities and social disasters.Family education is the basic and initial education that accompanied by children's life. family education is very important, but more important is mother's education to the children. The expert on Mother Study WangDongHua pointed out: mother's quality decides people's qualities of country. Nowadays, mother's education is advocated, that's to say, mother's education quality decides the children's life. Single mother's quality and her family education is the very important factor to determine child's destiny.One of divorced single mother family in PuDong was chosen to be as research object, the researcher have carried on true follow-up investigation and description of the family education and made careful analysis on this family. The researcher has carried on constant introspection to course and result studied. From the visual angle of family education to prospect this family,among the environmental factors that influence children's growth up, mother's personality has important influence. So the inclusion can be like this: the incomplete family structure is not the decisive influent factor of physical and psychological development of children. In the single-mother family, mother's personality and good relationship between mother and son can also keep children grow up healthily.The structure and content of this research are as following:The first part, introduction: the genesis of this research, put forward the problems, realistic significance, the object of research and introduction of study method.The second part, interview: interview with single mother and son separately, to show the experience of family education and current living situation.The third part ,the related incidents about family education: show the incidents in the living life and family education to obtain concrete feeling of the family education.The forth part , analysis on family education: the understanding to the mother, the category analysis on mother's family education and from the education aim , the way and the relationships ,and environment of family to get to the point of family education.The fifth part, discussion and thinking: obtain some enlightenment and suggestion of family education from the single mother's personality, Propose some help tactics to some single- mothers' family.
