Comprehensive learning has become a completely new part of Chinese text books and Chinese teaching along with the issue of the new standard for class evaluation. Therefore, it is necessary to learn the theory of Chinese comprehensive learning and put it into practice to accelerate the developing of the comprehensive learning. This thesis emphasizes the practice of the comprehensive learning. This thesis is divided into four main parts.Comprehensive learning is explained in the first part. I conclude the characteristics of the Chinese comprehensive learning according to the goal of it which is put forward in the new standard for class evaluation. Then the connotation of it is summed up: comprehensive learning ,which can not be equated to the general practice activities and extracurricular activities, should be carried out in the whole subject and we must focus the aim of it on that of the Chinese teaching. The attribute and the aim of the comprehensive learning are discussed in the second part. First of all, all kinds of viewpoints about the comprehensive learning are coordinated. Then, we can get the essence of the comprehensive learning, that is, what are the students learning is a language. Therefore, the basic goal of learning should be the development of skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing. In the third part, I discuss the trend of the comprehensive learning by analyzing the changing of the senior middle school entrance examination. In the beginning, I discuss some test questions in the last two years. Then briefly point out the trend of the test questions in the future. I just do this to ask all of us to pay more attention to the strategy in the practice so that the comprehensive learning will be effectively developed.
