The thesis takes the followings as the research object: 1, Chinese textbook on compulsory education curriculum standard, published by the publishing house of people education (2001 version); and2, three-year junior middle school Chinese textbook of nine years compulsory education (1993 version). Through comparison and the content analysis, it conducts the comparison research from three aspects: Chinese teaching program of instruction, the teaching content choice, and types of literature and forms of literature. The paper points out the Chinese textbook (in 2001 version) can reflect our country vicissitude more than the Chinese textbook (93 years version); Its articles of the ancient manifest the cultural value ideas of patriotism, attaching importance to morality, the friendship, " man is an integral part of nature" and so on. Its articles of the-modern age partially manifest the cultural value ideas which the socialist market economy construction needs, such as economical development could not take destroying the ecological environment as a price; being professional and content with one's occupation; having the spirit which pursues to the very source of knowledge. Its articles of the foreign countries manifest the "spirit of science". But its content choice also has the obvious insufficiency, namely in new time, our country construction of socialist market economy needs some cultural value ideas, such as "practices what one preaches", and "the good faith" in China traditional culture as well as in the western culture, "the democracy", and "the competition" .
