With the development of the curriculum reformation, we find that it is difficult to change the current status of education and instruction by traditional teaching methods; it also can't embody the new educational idea of curriculum entirely. While educational PC game which includes it's characteristics , educational function and learning mechanism can provide a new approach to realize them. This thesis takes the "IT course in middle school" as a case, introduces educational game into information technology class instruction and constructs a series of easily operable application models under the theoretical instruction of correlative learning theory.Based on the analysis of game-spirit, we considers that game-spirit which consists of the free spirit> the subjective spirit and the experienced spirit accords with the new educational idea of curriculum. Educational game is the historical continuity and expansion of traditional game which not only continues the game-spirit of traditional game, but also expanses it educational functions. So the application of educational game in subject teaching is a positive explore on the current teaching models. It makes the teaching process full of pleasure and motivation. Furthermore it can benefit the students to cultivate their initiative, positivity and creativity.At first, the thesis makes trace for the root of game, reveal the meaning of game on man. Second look back the relationship between game and teaching. At last summarizes the game-spirit and the relationship between new curriculum and game-spirit.Under the premise of the analysis of game, this thesis gropes after the characteristics of educational game which not only continues the game-spirit of traditional game, but also expanses it educational functions. It can evoke study's motivation, promote the development of subjectivity,sociality, creative consciousness ,cognitive ability and information literacy.On the base of above, the thesis constructs three types of application models of educational game on subject teaching : skill- practice model, question-inquiry model and virtual-collaboration model.
